IMPORTANT TRAVEL NOTICE
With effect from 26 July 2026, all eligible travelers visiting Sri Lanka for tourism must obtain Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) before arrival.
Nationals of the 40 eligible countries, including Japan may obtain a free 30-day tourist ETA, but prior online approval is mandatory.

(a) Tourist visa – for 30 days single entry or Standard visitor visa 06 month- up to 60 days stay

- Medical treatment including Ayurveda and Yoga
- Participating sports events competition and activities relating to cultural performances

(b) Tourist Visa - 1 Year – Multiple Entry1 year with 90 days stay limit /2 years/5 years/10 years Multiple Entry with 180 days stay limit.
